Castellari Bergaglio, Gavi DOCG, Salluvii, Piemonte
Castellari Bergaglio’s history is that of a family dedicated to the production of fine wines which are unmistakably linked to the terroir, and to focus on the Cortese grape, emblematic of the Gavi production zone. The meaning of Salluvii is the ancient name of people who lived in the Gavi region in the past.
An inviting nose of heather and honeydew melon. Very lively on the palate with wonderful lemon and lime flavours and a searing Chablis-like streak. Zippy, fresh and delightfully long on the finish. Outstanding Gavi.
